This system combines stylish design with durable LED technology for a service life of up to 50,000 hours. The dimmable LED strips are available in two light colours so you can tailor the ambience perfectly: warm white (approx. 3,000 K) creates a cosy, homely atmosphere, while neutral white (approx. 4,000 K) provides clear, functional illumination with maximum contrast. That way you always enjoy the ideal lighting – from bright safety orientation through to atmospheric light.

Lighting a staircase properly is far more than just a functional consideration. By positioning the light precisely above the walking line, treads and risers are illuminated completely free of shadows and glare. This considerably improves the perception of the stair geometry and dramatically reduces the risk of falls – a decisive contribution to accessibility, particularly in public buildings, surgeries or outdoor areas. At the same time, our system impresses with its purist design, as the entire cable routing is concealed. All supply cables and connectors run invisibly inside the stainless steel tube and through specially machined wall brackets, so nothing detracts from the elegant appearance.

While V2A stainless steel is ideal for indoor use, our highly corrosion-resistant V4A stainless steel guarantees lasting durability even in demanding environments such as damp rooms or coastal regions. This robustness is backed by our modern LED technology: the integrated 24V modules offer maximum energy efficiency and, with a service life of up to 50,000 hours, are designed for low-maintenance continuous use.

Maximum flexibility in lighting effect and installation

You decide on the lighting effect of your system – whether selective light accents using integrated spots or a continuous, homogeneous line of light for maximum comfort. To round off the desired atmosphere perfectly, our systems can also be dimmed steplessly and integrated seamlessly into modern smart home concepts. You are also well equipped for outdoor use, as our components feature high IP protection ratings and therefore withstand rain, snow and moisture permanently. Thanks to the modular design, installation is particularly efficient: from fixing the wall brackets to integrating the cables, everything is designed for professional fitting by specialists and experienced tradespeople, with our detailed technical data sheets providing support at all times.

Cutting the profiles and covers to size: Cut the slotted tube, the carrier profiles, covers and the optional lens precisely to the required length. Make sure you measure the dimension for the carrier profile, cover and lens accurately between the handrail brackets.
Preparing the fixings: Determine the spacing between the handrail supports and drill the necessary holes. Position the threads or holes for the fixing clips at intervals of 250 mm, ensuring that at least two clips are fitted per section.
Fitting the clips and handrail fixings: Screw (M 4 x 8) or rivet the fixing clips in place correctly. Then fit the handrail supports and click the cut carrier profiles securely into place.
Cable management: Where applicable, route the cable through the hollow handrail supports and, if required, lay it directly in the slot towards the supply line.
Cutting the LED strips: Shorten the LED strips to the desired length at the designated cutting points in 50 mm increments.
Applying the LED strips: Degrease the profile thoroughly, align the LED strip correctly, peel off the protective film from the adhesive surface and press the strip firmly along the guide lines.
Electrical connection: Fit the plug connectors and connect the supply cable to the LED strip. Please note that, for safety reasons, the final connection to the 230V mains supply must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Fitting the optical components: Finally, clip the cover into place. If a lens is used, slide it into the system before fitting the cover.

These steps ensure a professional, long-lasting installation, so that your new LED handrail impresses not only with maximum safety but also with a perfect light pattern.
