Wrought-iron letters for house numbers, names and …

Wrought iron letters can be combined with numbers to display house numbers such as 5a. However, they can also be used to incorporate the initial letters of surnames into a front door, a metal fence or a metal railing. Perhaps you could mount the entire surname on a mounting plate attached to a wall. Words such as ‘Welcome’ or entire mottos can also be formed using wrought iron letters. There are virtually no limits to your creativity here. At FeNau, you can obtain the entire alphabet from ‘A’ to ‘Z’ in both lower-case and upper-case letters. Whilst the lower-case letters measure 100 x 80 millimetres, the upper-case letters measure 180 x 100 millimetres. Visually, all the wrought-iron letters from FeNau impress with their playful yet rustic design. This design is characterised by numerous flourishes and appeals to more than just romantics. The wrought-iron letters can be combined not only with numbers but also look very attractive when paired with decorative pieces from the Baroque range in the FeNau online shop.

FeNau offers you letters made from S235JR steel

In the FeNau online shop, you can purchase wrought-iron letters made from S235JR steel. This steel was formerly also known as St 37-2. S235JR steel is easy to weld and shape. Furthermore, it impresses with its strength. These properties have made it a very commonly used material. The wrought-iron letters are manufactured from largely untreated crude steel. They can be painted afterwards to provide better protection against the elements. To attach them to metal fences or gates, for example, simply position them where required and weld them in place. If you wish to fix them to a house wall, an anchor plate is usually required. The welding work is relatively straightforward and can even be carried out by DIY enthusiasts with some manual skills.
