You can find wrought iron push-fit plugs for round tubes here with either a flat or slightly domed surface. Last but not least, the range includes threaded push-fit plugs, for example to attach levelling feet to a tube. The thread is an M8 thread. The ‘M’ stands for metric, and the ‘8’ for the nominal size. The centre hole of this thread has a diameter of 6.8 millimetres. This material is characterised by good weldability and formability, and also possesses good strength. This is why S235JR steel is one of the most frequently and widely used types of steel. The drive-in plugs are mostly made from raw steel. This can be heat-treated afterwards to ensure it withstands the elements more effectively in outdoor pipe installations. The drive-in plugs from the wrought iron range are very easy to fit: simply insert them into the relevant pipe and then drive them in deeply with a hammer until they are firmly seated.
