Sturdy and high-quality: Klöpper heads in the FeNau range

In the FeNau online shop, you can find Klöpper bottoms with diameters ranging from 21.9 to 120 millimetres. Other names for these Klöpper bottoms include semi-circular shells and domed bottoms. They differ from the slightly less flat basket-arch bottoms. The wall thickness of the Klöpper bottoms available here in the online shop is either 1.5, 2 or 2.5 millimetres. This is perfectly adequate for sealing pipes. By contrast, Klöpper bottoms used as the bases of hot-water or buffer storage tanks, for example, generally have a slightly greater wall thickness and a much larger diameter. Georg Kloppsch, who lived from 1874 to 1951, is regarded as the inventor of the relatively pressure-resistant Klöpper head, which is modelled on an egg.

Easy to weld and widely used: S235JR steel
