Anchor plates securely and firmly attach wrought iron elements and other components to a surface such as a wall or floor. They can be used, for example, to anchor fence posts or a railing into the ground, or to secure decorative wrought-iron elements to a wall. Anchor plates for small and large jobs

At FeNau, we stock anchor plates with a material thickness ranging from four to ten millimetres. Square anchor plates are available in sizes such as 100 x 100 or 150 x 150. These plates are available with four corner holes and one central hole, as well as cover plates with just two side holes. For round anchor plates, the product range spans diameters from 70 to 160 millimetres. The choice of suitable anchor plates depends primarily on the size and, in some cases, the weight of the part to be anchored. In the case of a square anchor plate with four corner holes and a material thickness of five millimetres, a square tube to be anchored in the floor should not exceed dimensions of 30 x 30 millimetres. By contrast, for anchoring a pipe measuring 80 x 80, a 120 x 120 millimetre anchor plate with four corner holes and a material thickness of five millimetres is recommended.

The anchor plates available in the FeNau online shop are made from uncoated S235JR steel. This steel was previously also known as St 37-2. It welds well, is highly formable and offers good strength. This makes it an excellent material for metal fabrication and the construction sector. The S235JR steel anchor plates in the FeNau range are all weldable. They can also be galvanised at a later stage to protect them from corrosion. Subsequent painting is also possible; this likewise offers protection against adverse environmental conditions. Furthermore, decorative paint finishes can serve aesthetic purposes and add attractive accents.
