Applications of T-joints

T-joints are used in the manufacture of handrails, barriers, scaffolding, room dividers and even in furniture making. The possibilities are incredibly varied. The superior quality of the material used ensures exceptional stability of the structure and, consequently, a very high standard of safety. All FeNau pipe connectors are made from malleable cast iron and, thanks to the electrogalvanising, they also look excellent. This means our tube connectors are suitable for any project. Use our T-piece tube connectors to connect the handrail of your balustrade to the posts or for scaffolding. You can join different materials using our T-piece tube connectors, e.g. wood, metal or plastic. In our range, you will find short pipe connector T-pieces and long pipe connector T-pieces in various outer pipe diameters.

Selecting the right T-pieces, the quantity required and assembly

Select your T-joints – all of which carry the TÜV Süd certificate – based on the external diameter of the rods and tubes to be joined. Once you have taken accurate measurements, you will find all standard sizes for T-joints in our range. Now, the number of T-joints per metre of your structure is also important. Bear in mind that a 15-metre-long railing may require 150 T-pieces. We’re happy to help you choose the right pipe connectors and the correct number! Once you have everything to hand, assembly is very straightforward: you can simply screw the T-pieces together using a hex key or Allen key. This means that using our T-pieces is perfectly feasible even for amateurs and those who aren’t particularly skilled at DIY. The result is a sturdy, durable structure which, thanks to its attractive look and feel, will give you a great deal of pleasure!
